Meet the Team
Agency Principal and Producer: Andy Ferrera, M.S., CLCSA graduate of Eastern Illinois University and an insurance professional since 2007, Andy started his insurance career at Country Financial where he focused on Personal, Commercial & Life Insurance while running his own agency. After nine years at a captive carrier, he joined Concklin Insurance Agency in 2017 to continue to focus in these areas of insurance while being able to provide more choices and pricing to better fit customer preferences. In late 2019, Andy launched his own independent agency through the Concklin Insurance agency network. Along with his insurance experience, Andy also served in the Iraq War in 2003 with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 48, providing communications support to Navy Fleet Hospital 3 in Southern Iraq. Andy is active with McHenry County Marine Corps League and it’s respective board, Woodstock Girls Softball as a coach, Boy Scouts Troop 329 as an assistant scoutmaster, and the Alumni Board of Phi Kappa Theta at Eastern Illinois University. He was formally on the board of VFW Post 4600 from 2021-2024, Cubs Scouts Pack 350 as a den leader from 2020-2024 and on the board of Woodstock Little League from 2021-2023. He is married with two children and enjoys outdoor activities. |

Agency Manager - Jerin FerreraA graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Business Administration minoring in Human Resources and Southern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education certified additionally in ESL, middle school science, middle school math, middle school social sciences, middle school English, and business. She has also earned her Insurance Producer Licenses in Property, Casualty, Health, and Life. Jerin worked in hospitality sales at Pheasant Run Resort as a Corporate Sales Manager with continuous involvement in MPI. While returning to a cohort SIU program, Jerin worked along with Andy at Country Financial to increase marketing. Jerin taught 5th through 8th grade at Stanton Middle School while leading as fifth grade team leader, orchesis coach, produced bi-annual drama productions, and worked with the Board on the school improvement plan. While keeping up with the busy schedules of their two children, Jerin worked alongside Andy at Concklin Insurance, along with launching the independent agency in 2019 and continuing to work within the agency in a variety of operations. Jerin previously served as the President of the First United Methodist Preschool Board and as Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Woodstock and currently serves on the Church education committee and volunteers frequently within their kid’s schools and activities. |

Personal and Commercial Lines CSR - Claudia TapiaClaudia earned her Insurance Producer Licenses in Property and Casualty in 2008. Shortly after, she started working for a non standard insurance company in Crystal Lake IL. In 2013, she had her son and he required a little more attention from her, she decided to take a break from insurance to stay with him. In 2018, Claudia returned to the insurance industry. She worked for American Family from 2018 to the beginning of 2022. In 2018, Claudia also earned her Real Estate License and is a market expert in Woodstock, Crystal Lake, Harvard and greater McHenry county area. She specializes in buyer’s agent and seller’s agent. Claudia is a strong marketer and negotiator who will insure your property sells for the best possible price! With over five years of experience in the insurance industry, Jenn specializes in crafting tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of her clients. As a mother of three boys, she understands the importance of safeguarding one's loved ones against life's uncertainties. Beyond her role as an insurance professional, Jenn is an avid polo player, finding balance and fulfillment in both her professional and personal pursuits. |
